Spanish outlet Sport states Mina has agreed a five-year contract with the Toffees and will cost £28.5m, just months after arriving in European football from South American side Palmeiras and enduring a tough time in Spain.

However, Colombian journalist Guillermo Arango believes differently.

"Everton are thought to be in the market for a centre back and they come next in the betting at 5/4, while Wolves are 5/1 to continue their summer spending spree, as Nuno Espírito Santo looks to build a squad capable of staying in the Premier League". "But they want to go to Manchester United", Arango said, quoted by ComuTricolor.
