Barcelona duo Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes join Everton

Barcelona followed that news with confirmation that Portugal midfielder Andre Gomes would also be moving to the Goodison Park club on a season-long loan.

It was a busy transfer deadline for Everton as they bought Yerry Mina from Barcelona for a fee of around £27 million with a buy back option inserted from the La Liga champions.

The arrival of Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich further limited his chances of featuring for the Catalan based club.

Mina had always been linked with a move away from Barcelona this summer with the club's purchases of non-EU players in Malcom, Arthur and Arturo Vidal filling their quote per La Liga's rules.

Barca have inserted a buy-back option for the Colombian worldwide, who caught the eye after a series of impressive performances at the Russia World Cup. He will compete for places with Gylfi Sigurdsson, Morgan Schneiderlin and Tom Davis.
