Drake drop his new video "In My Feelings" as promised on Thursday night. There are cameos from NOLA bounce queen Big Freedia and the City Girls, and the end credits feature clips from viral #InMyFeelings challenge videos. Director Karena Evans was also spotted down in NO, along with IG star Shiggy, the man responsible for the "In My Feelings" dance challenge that catapulted the record to #1 on the charts. He also uploaded an image of a denim jacket that read "Free JT", a reference to City Girls' Jatavia "JT" Johnson, who is now behind bars on fraud charges.
Even before the video, "In My Feelings" had gone viral thanks to Shiggy's challenge, which found thousands of people (including celebrities such as Will Smith) dancing in sync to the song's lyrics in exotic locales, from traffic-clogged streets to Cape Town, South Africa. "And then this kid from NY that spits when he talks all the time did some dance to it, and then the world did the dance, and Will Smith was there. It was awful!"
Sorry, Android. You can’t have more than two notches
While we have seen the number of notched Android phones growing increasingly this year, consumers are still divided on the notch. This little black cut-out on top of the screen may look like an eyesore, but more and more phones are jumping on this trend.
Near the end of the video, Drake wakes up from a nap and realizes the entire thing was just a dream.
The video concludes with a montage of fans and celebrities alike taking part in the dance challenge, including Millie Bobby Brown, DJ Khaled and Will Smith, the latter of which scaled the famous Chain Bridge in Budapest, Hungary, to take part in the challenge.
