Motorola introduces Moto Z3 with 5G Moto Mod

Between in-house work, efforts from longstanding hardware partners and upstart Mod creators, Motorola has made it clear that Moto Mods won't just disappear overnight. Naturally, people are wondering when the next Moto Z will be announced.

Either way, we've spent a bit of time with it, but thought we'd share this unboxing first before getting to our Moto Z3 review. At least not this year. Last year, Verizon execs promised to greatly loosen data caps for 5G, but we haven't heard an update since then. However, there is no official announcement for the launch date of Moto Z3 smartphone in India. The Force model has typically been a slightly upgraded version of the regular Z model with a shatterproof display.

The Moto Z3 price in the United States has been set at $480 (approximately Rs. 33,000). I was told today that the Moto Mod will be able to reach speeds of up to 5 Gbps, which is definitely a massive increase over what 4G LTE is capable of reaching.

The Moto Z3 will be available in the U.S. exclusively on Verizon starting August 16 for $480. For the time being, the focus is on the capabilities of the Moto Z3 as they exist in August 2018, and not what they may be at some point next year. The mod is likely specifically tuned for the Verizon network on the 28-GHz band, which would make it incompatible for use here in Australia - though we're happy to be corrected if Motorola Australia wants to launch it here.

His opponent Chamisa, however, was not prepared to wait on the release of official results, which he has already derided as fake. Basically Zanu PF has won the two-thirds majority and thus has the power to change the constitution if need arises.

Motorola One Power and Moto Power, speculated to be the company's new Android One devices, were also expected to be unveiled at the event. However, the battery supports fast charging with Moto's TurboPower solution. Verizon customers can expect Android Oreo 8.1, 64 GB of storage, and 4 GB of memory on the Z3. Under ideal conditions in the lab, the 5G Moto Mod hit a peak speed of 3.5Gbps for downloads. The smartphone will be available in ceramic black color. While the user can enjoy up to 5Gbps speeds on a mobile device, the Mod is also as thick as the device itself. The Moto Z3 comes with a side-facing fingerprint sensor and also support face unlock. The company has now launched the smartphone only for the USA market.

-The Moto Z3 is splash resistant, but Motorola hasn't yet specified the IP rating. Motorola hasn't officially confirmed availability of the flagship smartphone in India yet. It's looking like it'll be a little while before we see 5G technology built directly into phones.
