Created by Lucasfilm Animation veteran Dave Filoni - who worked on the earlier toon series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels - the series is exec produced by Athena Portillo, Justin Ridge and Brandon Auman. With the first footage comes the announcement of a Sunday, Oct. 7, premiere.

The first Star Wars Resistance trailer has arrived, giving us a first look at the anime-inspired animated series coming to The Disney Channel this fall and providing us with a whole new roster of Resistance heroes to root for. Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne from Game of Thrones) are also a part of the voice cast, reprising their roles as Poe and Captain Phasma, respectively, according to the official release. Naturally, it's home to a host of new aliens, droids and various other beings, and Kaz will be going undercover as a mechanic living with Poe's old friend and veteran pilot Yeager (Scott Lawrence), who runs a starship fix shop. Kaz soon finds himself in over his head with his new friend BB-8 as he'll have to compete in unsafe sky races, keep his mission a secret from his newfound family, and avoid the danger of the First Order. As the Resistance spy finds work at a spaceship fix shop and practices his pilot skills in risky sky races, he struggles to keep his identity from his new friends and to gather Poe's intel - all while evading the powerful First Order. "I was really hoping this show would be more of a traditional 2D animation style, but instead it looks like a ugly mix of 3D and 2D, which looks bad [in my opinion]".

Elon Musk’s tweet draws Tesla investor lawsuit over share price swings
Musk could soon be under investigation by the SEC if he can't prove there actually is a reasonable $420 offer on the table. Elon Musk has a twenty percent stake of Tesla and he is the largest shareholder.

"The idea for Star Wars Resistance came out of my interest in World War II aircraft and fighter pilots".

Sounds fun! I'm pleasantly surprised to see Disney has an all-new Star Wars animated series ready to go so quickly after the series finale of Star Wars Rebels in 2017. However, there are also unsafe races taking place there.
