Last year Apple launched the iPhone 8 and iPhone X to celebrate its 10-year anniversary in producing smartphones, and it will be presenting the next iterations on Wednesday. It would also explain why Apple is seemingly in no rush to upgrade its 4-inch iPhone SE, despite the fact that some users love it. This year may be different. While smartphone market growth has slowed, higher prices have helped Apple keep expanding and it has gained market share.

We will have to wait and see.

It's also said to boast Apple's new S4 and W3 chipset running alongside 16GB of onboard storage. 'Depending on the price point, the launch of the XC could also see Apple making serious moves in the mobile mid-tier as it hopes to regain ground from more competitively priced rivals'. Retina-display love to be exact.
