Check out the first trailer for Captain Marvel below along with a new poster. It sets him on that path that leads us to where we are 19 films later'.

Not only is Carol the most powerful hero in the MCU (as stated by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige himself), but as seen in a brief, yet powerful sequence in the trailer, when faced with the odds she just doesn't give up; picking herself up after each failure or fall, curling her fist in determination.

CLIP TOSS: (:02-:10) https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_co. From looking calm under the stress of having some kinds of lasers blasting into the sides of her head to the confidence with which she decks a bus rider (who I'd bet is a Skrull in disguise), I'm more than ready for this. We didn't see her ... until now. "From there, a familiar voice is heard saying QUOTE" War is a universal language.

Almost two minutes in length, Captain Marvel features Brie Larson and a younger-looking Samuel L. "Nick Fury" Jackson as they build an on-screen relationship and foreshadow what's to possibly come in the next Avengers movie.

Storm Ali to batter north Cumbria with 80mph winds
Sunderland is set to be hit by strong winds tomorrow, with a Met Office yellow weather warning in place from 6am to 10pm. The gusty winds will be accompanied in places by heavy, squally showers, making driving conditions hard .

Samuel L Jackson reprises his iconic Nick Fury role, with the veteran actor getting digitally de-aged to play the future head of Shield.

The two then come face to face, which is the beginning of a friendship that now, years later, will mean so much to the fate of the MCU. She gains superhuman strength when her DNA is fused with an alien's following an accident, but she doesn't remember her life on Earth prior to gaining her Captain Marvel powers. "But I can't tell if it's real".

Well, to be exact, it would be her Flerken Chewie, but we're still not sure if that will end up making it into the movie. Yes, Chris Evans has taken to Twitter to react to the first Captain Marvel preview, posting a short but effective message and showing his love for Ms. Danvers. We also get our first glimpse of Jude Law as Mar-Vell. Obviously the movie is set in the 90's so it makes sense for Fury and Coulson to be together and that also makes me a little emotional, not gonna lie. That means when confronted they can pull out jagged teeth, insane tentacles, and more, and Chewie's done all of that and more to defend Captain Marvel.
