The front that has stalled over central IN will be the focus for additional showers and thunderstorms on Friday.

"Rain is forecast to begin over extreme southwestern Ontario Sunday, reaching the Golden Horseshoe Sunday evening", read an Environment Canada statement sent out Saturday. Add in the high level of humidity, and we've got the makings for more blinding downpours and some embedded thunderstorms on Friday. Rain could fall at rates exceeding 2 inches per hour, potentially leading to flash flooding - especially in urban areas, they warned.

Meteorologist Thomas Jones with the National Weather Service in Little Rock says the system moved into southeastern Arkansas Thursday morning and is expected to drop three to five inches of rain in southern, central and north-central Arkansas by Sunday morning. Everyone in central in needs to be aware that Flash Flooding is a danger this weekend and you should not drive through a flooded roadway. Stay alert and DO NOT DRIVE through high water.
