Maroon 5 is reportedly performing at the 2019 Super Bowl according to the magazine Variety.

"The offer has been extended and they've pretty much accepted".

Neither representatives for Maroon 5 nor the National Football League immediately responded to Fox News' request for comment.

The NFL championship game is scheduled to take place on February 3rd, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show has always attracted major talent.

Pakistan PM Khan vows to grant Afghan refugees citizenship
Any deal with Riyadh is likely to need assurances the kingdom can count on Pakistan's support against Iran, analysts said. As part of the cost-cutting initiative, he had announced the auction of surplus PM House vehicles.

Maroon 5 jokingly responded after the mix-up, tweeting at Henson, "Thanks for loving our performance from our seats at #SB50".

Plus, with the Super Bowl being in Atlanta, one of the centers of hip-hop and the home of Migos (aka Offset, Cardi's husband) it seems like Maroon 5 would be nuts to NOT include her.

The band is expected to tour their album "Red Pill Blues" for the next few months. If Maroon 5 can shake up the layout of an iconic venue certainly they can deliver when it comes to taking on the iconic Super Bowl.

So, of course, fans were not particularly pleased with the Maroon 5 report. As most people know, a Super Bowl Halftime show can often only be as good as the special guests who join.

The band has collaborated with a number of incredible artists over the years, most recently Cardi B on the hit song "Girls Like You". They have some big shoes to fill. Props to them for making it big and pumping out hit after hit.
