Miami Heat Have High Interest in Trading for Jimmy Butler

- Jimmy Butler has requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to reports.

Petty season in the National Basketball Association is back!

Either way, though, opposing executives seem to think there is no way the Minnesota Timberwolves try to see it through with their star swingman.

Butler has told the Minnesota Timberwolves that he has no intentions of re-signing with the club next summer, his way of saying "trade me now" or "lose me for nothing later".

In Minnesota, he had issues with Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns and just seems to be a negative influence on guys.

Butler likes the Clippers' odds of signing a second superstar during the 2019 offseason as they have two max contract slots. Haberstroh noted that Butler only assisted on one Towns basket in the clutch from November to April, a pick-and-roll play against the Brooklyn Nets in early January.

This makes sense considering what we've heard about Leonard and his team desires recently.

Donald Trump taunts US media over Barack Obama error
Obama acknowledged the mistake after, saying, "I understand I said there were 57 states today". Sen. "On November 6th, we have a chance to restore some sanity to our politics", Obama said.

The 29-year-old is now meeting with Minnesota head coach Tom Thibodeau to discuss his future with the team.

While it would work out better for him financially to get traded, (his bird rights would transfer, leading to a larger contract), the Clippers could still sign him outright to a max deal without losing any assets.

Miami would interest him as well, since Butler has raved about the city in the past and he's still very tight with fellow Marquette alum and former Chicago teammate Dwyane Wade.

The Knicks have to be concerned, too, about Butler's past history with young players.

Meanwhile, if the Clippers have not traded for Butler, odds are they don't make the playoffs and thus keep their lottery protected first round pick.

Butler also talked this summer with fellow star Kyrie Irving about potentially teaming up somewhere down the line, either in Boston where Irving now plays or in another city.

Because over the six-month span from November to April, that was the only Towns basket Butler assisted during clutch situations (a game within five points in the final five minutes). The Minnesota Timberwolves will fade into petty obscurity, unable to take the court due to their unabashed hatred of one another.
