Two other victims are being treated at University of Cincinnati hospital.
At least two people are dead while several others were injured Thursday morning after a reported Cincinnati bank shooting at the Fifth Third Bank Downtown. When four police officers arrived, they shot the suspect through glass windows and killed him, Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac said.
Police in Cincinnati have reported three people killed and a gunman dead in a shooting at a bank.
The police chief said he could not say whether the gunman shot himself in addition to being shot by police. One has died, two are in critical condition and one is in serious condition.
"He was actively shooting innocent victims it appears", Cranley said.
Another victim was reportedly located inside the nearby Graeter's ice cream shop, next door to the Fifth Third Bank building on Fountain Square.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said the rapid police response probably prevented many more casualties.
"The Cincinnati police first wrote "@CincyPD investigating active shooter/officer involved shooting incident at Fifth Third Bank at 511 Walnut Street in lobby and loading dock.
He said a woman also was walking into the bank at the same time, but had her headphones on and couldn't hear their warnings.

Varying media accounts quote witnesses as saying they heard anywhere from eight to 15 gunshots.
