That was nearly a rule until a few years ago, but in the news-saturated scenario of today, the gloves are off, especially if your name is Mojang and you have a Minecraft game to reveal. Below is the trailer for Minecraft: Dungeons. Mojang have said that other games are also in the works, to be announced in the future.
Mojang announced a new game at Minecon, a spin-off from Minecraft that will be a multiplayer dungeon-crawler featuring the blocky voxely style it's known for.
Minecraft: Dungeons is aiming for a 2019 launch, and Mojang describes the game as a "passion project" from a "small and dedicated team in Stockholm, Sweden".
Trump gives news conference in New York City
Trump said of the decision by Blasey Ford and her parents not to press charges against Kavanaugh more than three decades ago. While taking questions, a deadpan Trump called on Kurdistan TV reporter Rahim Rashidi, saying: "Yes, please".
On top of that, there's added village variety depending on biomes, and crossbows. According to the official announcement, this game is "inspired by classic dungeon crawlers". Throughout the game, players will acquire upgrades to their armor and weapons across various environmental biomes, including swamps, mines, and canyons.
"Brave the dungeons alone, or team up with friends!"
Interestingly, the game is slated to release only on PC, and it'll come in 2019. Up to four players can battle together through action-packed, treasure-stuffed, wildly varied levels, all in an epic quest to save the villagers and take down the evil Arch-Illager! Nefarious pillagers and beasts will also be unleashed upon the villages around each world. Obviously, the look of the world will maintain that familiar Minecraft feel, but you have to wonder how user creativity and an ability to re-shape the world - both core elements in the main game - will play a role. Do you like the idea of Minecraft Dungeons?
