Steelers have just one change on inactives list for game vs. Panthers

The Panthers (6-3) saw their three-game winning streak come to an abrupt halt in a city where they've never won.

Panthers safety Eric Reid was ejected from Thursday night's 52-21 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a hit on Ben Roethlisberger.

It was all downhill after Christian McCaffrey posted 60 yards during a brisk touchdown drive to open the game. Watt said after the game that he was assigned to be responsible for Newton regardless of whether it was a handoff or not, so when the play-action rollout rolled right into the linebacker, it wasn't going to end well for the Panthers.

"If you stayed awake for the end of Panthers-Steelers...you one-upped one specific member of the Carolina Panthers", 12Up's Adam Weinrib joked.

Matic: Mourinho knows how to stop Man City
It's true they are the favourites because they are in unbelievable form but this is Manchester United and you never know what can happen".

Bell does not have to report to the Steelers by a certain date to get an accrued season to become eligible for free agency, contrary to what ESPN and others previously reported.

"This is what we expected", Roethlisberger said.

It was a "get called for delay of game on a punt" kind of night for Ron Rivera and the Carolina Panthers, which is a good way to start a Steelers recap. Getting him back on the field wouldn't hurt, but the team's biggest issues are on defense. "It's hard to sit there and say "well, you should pick it up every time" - it's why defenses are designed". "We know he's back in Pittsburgh, so we're hoping to have some communications with him over the weekend". Heck, we don't think Cam had any idea what he was doing.
