Cornerback Desmond King was the game-changer for Los Angeles by reading and stepping in front of Wilson's pass intended for wide receiver David Moore for an interception and taking it back to the house for 42-yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

The Chargers are slated to visit the Raiders at 4:05 p.m. ET in Week 10 action. Wilson scrambled for 16 yards to the Chargers 28 and, after a spike, Seattle had 30 seconds left.

One of the biggest missed opportunities happened at the start of the second quarter on Seattle's second drive.

Wilson was 26 of 39 for 235 yards, and threw a 10-yard TD pass to Jaron Brown on Seattle's opening drive. With Mile Davis and Reshaad Penny backing up Carson, Seattle should be able to establish their now infamous running game while the Chargers have Austin Ekeler who is elusive but works best as a third down, change of pace back and will leave Los Angeles more limited in their play calling if Gordon can't go. This wasn't like his 2010 performance in Seattle when Rivers threw for 455 yards, but he made key throws at important times, especially in the first half.

Punter Michael Dickson averaged 52.8 yards on six punts with a net of 50.

Oil prices pulled down by surging output, but Iran sanctions loom
Iran's biggest oil customers - all in Asia - have been seeking sanctions waivers to allow them to continue buying some of its oil. US light crude was 25 cents lower at $63.44, down more than 13 percent since hitting four-year highs a month ago.

Badgley kicked in two games when Sturgis could not play due to a quadriceps injury. Carson had just eight carries, leaving Mike Davis as the primary back. "We had to adjust a couple things from first half to second half, and they did a good job, and the players could take advantage of that".

Gordon is officially questionable on the injury report.

Despite all that, Wilson almost pulled off another fourth-quarter rally. They looked like a legitimate playoff team and the Seahawks didn't, even though the game was so close.

Sturgis is the first kicker with missed a PAT and field goal in three consecutive games since 1979.

The Chargers will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Oakland.
