Despite hype, Shahrukh Khan's 'Zero' fizzles on day one

The first day box office collections of Shah Rukh Khan's Zero is expected to be around Rs 20 crore as negative reviews from critics hit the film's performance in the second half on Friday. Of Anushka's performance in the film, Karan Johar wrote: "Anushka Sharma is so, so incredible as she portrays a challenging part!"

A screening of the Zero has already taken place in Dubai, Umair Sandhu, a leading entertainment journalist shared his review. As a damaged super star she throws caution and body language to the winds and gives us her most heartfelt and believable performance!

In the letter, the Zero actor wrote, "Zero is a handsome coincidence for me".

Zero marks the collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with Anushka Sharma after a span of six years.

Shah Rukh Khan's Zero was released on a massive scale in about 4380 screens in the domestic market. But it has to be seen that what will be the final verdict of the film and what will be its box office collection. After taking an opening day of around 20 crores, the film is having a better day 2 and set to dominate the extended Christmas weekend.
