Sport is reporting that the Gunners are interested in a potential swoop to sign the Croatia global in the January transfer window.

Arsenal enquired about Perisic but want to do a loan deal with a permanent switch in the summer as they have limited funds in January.

Arsenal are reportedly deemed to have agreed personal terms with Ivan Perisic, although they remain unclear whether they can pursue him from Inter Milan before the transfer deadline.

"Two because we are looking at two different players who have the possibility to come here". The player has expressed this desire, we want to satisfy him but we also need to respect the value of the player.

"It's one thing the club is working on, the possibility with different players", he told a news conference. "And we are going to have chances to take and spend money to buy players".

"It is hard to keep players that don't want to stay but no offer has arrived yet so therefore the prerequisite for a transfer simply isn't there. Perisic knows his profession and I hope he continues with it, maybe giving us more", said Spalleti. "My challenge is to improve the players".

Already with Danny Welbeck (ankle), Rob Holding (knee), Henrikh Mkhitaryan (foot) for the foreseeable future and Hector Bellerin (ACL) out for the season, the Gunners picked up two more injuries in Friday's 3-1 loss to United in the fourth round of the FA Cup. "We're having a lot of injuries and a lot in this position".

Emery said the cup exit would allow his team to put all their efforts into qualifying for the Champions League.

Unai Emery is facing something of a defensive crisis ahead of Arsenal's Premier League clash with Cardiff City on Tuesday.
