The former Broncos head coach declined to interview with the Bengals about their head-coaching vacancy and said he had no contact with the Browns, either.

The Packers have chosen to make Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur their next head coach, and it's unclear how committed McDaniels was to being considered for that job.

So, it looks like McDaniels will be staying put once again, which is great news for the Patriots both in the short term as they prepare for the Chargers and moving forward, as the team will not be needing a new offensive coordinator.

Still, New York would like to talk Kingsbury, former Jets quarterback.

Kingsbury has already spoken with with the Arizona Cardinals since USC made a decision to allow him to speak to professional teams.

China slashes banks' reserve requirements again as economy slows
The reduction is being made in two equal stages, effective January 15 and January 25, the PBOC said. China is set to reduce cut banks' reserve requirement ratios (RRRs) amid slower economic growth.

If the sought-after coach does wind up leaving, the Trojans are in serious trouble.

Kingsbury began his coaching career as an offensive quality control coach in Houston and became the Cougars' OC in 2009 under Kevin Sumlin.

There is a chance that Kingsbury could still take an offensive coordinator position in the National Football League as well. I've said before I think I have one of the best jobs in the world. Reports are that teams love him as a play caller. Teams with young quarterbacks need to find young offensive minds to pair with them. He finished his tenure with the club with a mark of 35-40, never finishing higher than fifth in the Big 12. At the college level, Kingsbury had a hand in developing Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, Case Keenum, Johnny Manziel, and Davis Webb. This is a coach who was sacked from his alma mater with a career losing record only a few months ago.

Kingsbury spent six seasons as Texas Tech's head coach prior to his ouster.
