If you've watched the "The Young and the Restless" then you probably know all too well who Kristoff St. John was.

"Young and the Restless" actor Kristoff St. John has died at age 52. He called him his "brotha" in his tweet, with a photo of himself alongside St. John and Daniel Goddard who plays Cane on the show. There was reportedly no sign of foul play, however, a source claimed alcohol may have been involved.

It is unclear what Mia St. John meant by her now-deleted post that blamed the medical facility in charge of Julian's care for the deaths of her son and ex-husband.

Young & Restless fans are distraught over Kristoff's death. He was the longest-running black actor on the show and won 10 NAACP Awards for his performance.

His lawyer Mark Geragos said: "sadly yes", when confirming his client's death. "It begins on the day your child passes, and ends the day the parent joins them".

He went on to land a role in the 1979 ABC miniseries Roots: The Next Generations.
