"This is because it offers the functionality that comes with more screen real estate, the Dual Screen is 6.2" (FullHD+), and on the demo devices on display, LG showed it working in conjunction with visual-heavy apps like Google Maps and Gmail. Remember "ThinQ" is pronounced " (not like "think") and with all the post-nominals, this is the "LG V50 ThinQ 5G". It is most likely that sprint will be the first network followed by Verizon. However, there had been no official statement regarding the price and availability of both Smartphones.
LG G8s ThinQ features a 6.1-inch QHD+ display and IP68 dust and water-resistant technology. There's a difference in the camera set up as well which comprises of a 13MP super wide angle lens + a 12MP standard + a 12MP telephoto lens. That name's definitely going to get easier to say. As the Z Camera sees objects in 3D, Face Unlock can not be fooled with two-dimensional photos.
Indeed, LG could not figure out an in-display fingerprint reader, so it went with the usual (reliable) scanner on the back and a simpler (read not so secure) face unlock feature available using the front selfie camera. LG's Hand ID uses "biometric authentication" tech; its IR sensors collect information about your blood and draws an image of your vein structure - all you need to do to unlock your device is to hover your hand over the screen and the phone will unlock.
The LG G8 ThinQ will also get air gesture controls, something we're sure we've seen LG try before, though in this phone, it might be at its time. There is a 4000mAh battery on the smartphone to power it which also supports fast charging and wireless charging.
As such their foldable display technology is out of reach for many consumers, but there could be an alternative for users on the hunt for phones with multiple form factors.
The Korean giant has also launched a slightly lower-specced version of their flagship as well, designed especially for developing markets.
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif announces sudden resignation
Since the United States chose to pull out of the deal, Zarif has been a large critic of the Trump presidency. Khamenei guardedly backed the deal, under which Iran agreed to curb its nuclear work.
There's a stripped down variant of G8 ThinQ called "G8s".
The G8 ThinQ was also revealed touting gesture-based navigation, as previously teased by the firm. Users can hold their palm in front of the camera to unlock the phone.
But I am somewhat concerned about the 3,500mAh battery, which is on the smaller side. It runs Google's latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box and is fueled by 3,500mAh capacity battery with support for Qualcomm's Quick charge 3.0. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the LG V50 ThinQ 5G packs a 12-megapixel (f/1.5, 1.4-micron) primary camera and a 16-megapixel (f/1.9, 1-micron) secondary camera on the rear. Apart from 5G, the handset offers 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C for connectivity.
Moving on to the design, LG V50 ThinQ from the front looks nearly identical to the G8 ThinQ. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. When playing a game, the additional display can be used as a game screen, while the smartphone itself can be used as a game controller.
There's a big hinge and bezels separating the two screens, so you won't be getting any big-screen Android tablet action, but there's plenty of split-screen functionality.
