Tucker Carlson's words reveal who he really is

While digging for Carlson's insults targeted at women, Media Matters also found Tucker expressing his fair share of racism on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show. These are weird and unpopular and he has a different lifestyle than other people find creepy. That follows a 2006 segment on the show where Carlson said he had "zero sympathy" for Iraqi people and their culture because they "don't use toilet paper or forks". For one thing, that's not true.

Instead of apologizing or discussing his comments, Carlson released a statement inviting critics and fans alike to check out his Fox News evening program if they want to "know what I think". In the meantime, Carlson's supporters have derided this report as a "hit piece" (despite it simply being Carlson's own words) or suggested that because these comments are a decade old, they're no longer relevant.

"It is happening. And so going forward, we'll be covering their efforts to make us be quiet", Carlson said of his detractors Monday night.

Carlson said it was "bullshit" that Jeffs had been charged with felony rape for facilitating the marriage of 16-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man. Jeffs was not convicted on those charges but is now serving a life sentence for the sexual assault of two girls, ages 12 and 15, he took as polygamous wives.

"I mean, I love women, but they're extremely primitive, they're basic, they're not that hard to understand", he said.

Carlson responded: "If it weren't my daughter, I would love that scenario". I mean, it's nothing they did, you know.

The Fox News anchor has invited "anyone who disagrees" with his views to come on his show.

Like Gaga said, she was processing her own issues and trauma and clearly had not intended for the song to play out the way it did. Clary and Savage said there is nothing inappropriate going on and they have both an individual and joint relationship with him.

A co-host on the show replies: "They're animals, dude".

On that same appearance, he called Alexis Stewart, a television and radio host and daughter of Martha Stewart, "cunty". Here's a brief selection from the sampling that media matters is put together so you can see for yourself just how Gross Carlson truly is here. "You always say, 'I mean that in a non-fag way, ' but I actually mean it in a completely faggot way". In the end, you get fired, you lose your job.

-April 4, 2006: Carlson downplays the molestation of a 13-year-old boy abused by his teacher, saying that female teachers who rape their underage male students are "doing a service to all 13-year-old girls by taking the pressure off".

Media Matters has even more horrific quotes on their website.

These recordings certainly can't have a positive impact on ad buys during the 8PM hour that Carlson's show airs. "Fox News is behind us, as they have been since the very first day", he added, noting: "But we will never bow to the mob".

Amid the backlash, some flocked to defend Carlson, including prominent conservatives such as Donald Trump Jr.
