However, rumors suggest the device will feature a 1TBB HDD and be bundled with either Forza Horizon 3, Sea of Thieves, or Minecraft pre-installed. It apparently will not include a subscription to Xbox Game Pass.

We already know Microsoft is working on an Xbox One S console without a disc-drive. However, it may not seem the case, as Microsoft's next-gen Xbox entries, codenamed "Anaconda" and "Lockhart", don't seem to have any disc-less support, but we'll only find out for sure in due time. The other important thing is that adapting existing Xbox games for Project xCloud should require very little work for developers, compared to porting games to Google's new Stadia cloud-based platform.

Furthermore, information regarding what would come bundled with the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition has also been divulged. This new Xbox One S may just be a test run to see how the all-digital format does.

Obviously, it still hasn't been formally announced by Microsoft, but it looks pretty clear that this digital box is coming, and if WindowsCentral is to be believed, it should be fairly soon!

Sources tell Windows Central that Microsoft's digital-only Xbox One S (dubbed the rather terrible Xbox One S All-Digital Edition) will release May 7, 2019.

Windows Central suggests the new console will be revealed in April.

Exact pricing details weren't available. Anaconda is expected to be a high-end machine along the lines of an Xbox One X, while Lockhart could be a cheaper digital-only box. Last month HEXUS updated readers on the disc-less console.

The resource noted that it recreated the box image in Photoshop to protect the source of the photos.
