DOJ: Some Congress Members Will See Mueller Report Without Certain Redactions

Democratic lawmakers have criticized Barr for issuing a four-page summary of Mueller's report on March 24 rather than waiting and letting the redacted version be the public's first look at the special counsel's work. It was brought to you by Dirty Cops, Crooked Hillary and the DNC, ' he wrote on Twitter.

As for the Mueller report, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told the USA cable news program Fox News Sunday, "I don't think it is going to be damaging to the president". Barr recently indicated his intention to investigate the origins of Mueller's probe, as well as various counterintelligence decisions made by Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department officials, bolstering some of the president's allies who have vowed to expose a "deep state" conspiracy, which claims there is a covert network entrenched inside the government working to undermine Trump.

In an effort of questionable logic - or just a last-ditch endeavor to stall for time - Attorney General William Barr will hold a press conference Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m., then release the report to Congress somewhere between 11 a.m. and noon.

Another piece of Mueller news dropped on Wednesday evening - one that could alleviate the frustration of report readers stymied by big redacted blocks in Thursday's reading.

President Donald Trump's lawyers are putting the finishing touches on a rebuttal to the forthcoming report by special counsel Robert Mueller. We may not know what the secret material is, but at least we'll know why it wasn't disclosed.

The president is also expected to travel to Mar-a-Lago for the Easter weekend on Thursday, sources say, and depending on what's revealed, Trump could speak to reporters as he leaves the White House.

The president, who has stepped up his attacks in recent days as the possibility of damaging information in Mueller's redacted report appears to grow, has long claimed that alleged anti-Trump bias at the FBI and the Justice Department spurred federal investigations into his campaign's alleged ties to Russian Federation during the 2016 election, demanding those intelligence officials be investigated themselves. If Nadler and Democrats are still beating the Mueller report dead horse at that late date, it will only serve to demonstrate how out of touch their party is with the rest of America.

‘An Absolute Tragedy’: Fire Engulfs Notre Dame Cathedral
Father Manny Alvarez said he had plans to visit the cathedral in the summer. " Paris without the cathedral is not Paris anymore". Built in the 12th and 13th centuries, Notre Dame is the most famous of the Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages.

Trump and his team seem aware that the absence of a prosecution recommendation from Mueller does not necessarily imply an absence of obstruction entirely.

But Trump's inner circle knows there will likely be further releases of embarrassing or politically damaging information. But any information regarding his sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr., who run his businesses, could be more likely to be redacted.

"It's a total phony", Trump said of all allegations to Minneapolis TV station KSTP this week.

His long-asserted accusation - though not supported by evidence - that his campaign was spied upon was given new life last week when Barr, testifying before Congress, said he thinks "spying did occur" in 2016. "The reason for this is because Republicans and Democrats in the electorate hate the other side so much". The warrant was obtained after Page had left the campaign and was renewed several times.

It later states "With the goal to discredit what's coming, Trump and his allies have unleashed a series of broadsides against Mueller's team and the Democrats pushing for full release of the final report".

Later, it tries to tie up the matter of what Trump got wrong.

In addition to Comey's firing, Mueller scrutinized the president's request of Comey to end an investigation into Trump's first national security adviser; his relentless badgering of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions over his recusal from the Russian Federation investigation; and his role in drafting an incomplete explanation about a meeting his oldest son took at Trump Tower with a Kremlin-connected lawyer. The report could provide new information that could prompt further investigations or even consideration of impeachment proceedings, a tricky political calculation since Mueller did not conclude there was collusion or obstruction.
