The AAF has played eight weeks of football in its inaugural season, but according to a report that might be all she wrote.

The Alliance of American Football (AAF) suspended all football operations on 4/2.

The call was made by controlling owner Tom Dundon less than a week after he told USA Today the league was in danger of folding after not being able to come to an agreement with the NFL Players Association to share practice squad players. But Tom Dundon, the owner of the Carolina Hurricanes who bought a controlling share of the league just about two months ago, has chose to cancel the rest of the season. "Dundon makes decision against wishes of league co-founders Charlie Ebersol and Bill Polian", Rovell stated. The teams are based in Atlanta, Birmingham (Alabama), Memphis, Orlando, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego and Tempe (Arizona).

"Through eight weeks of the regular season, former big league flameouts like Trent Richardson, Matt Asiata and Johnny Manziel have looked for a road back to the NFL, though hope for the AAF being that avenue is waning quickly". I simply don't understand at all why the spring league didn't work.

The XFL, which is set to launch in 2020, is reportedly interested in purchasing some of the AAF's assets.

Nipsey Hussle’s Cause Of Death Revealed By Coroner’s Report
Hussle , whose real name was Ermias Davidson Asghedom, had been a figure in the West Coast hip-hop scene for more than a decade. By 2013, his mixtapes were so sought after that he was able to release his limited-edition " Crenshaw " at $100 per hard copy.

First, the AAF is a league for players and fans alike. However, the company chose to also grade all futures bets on the other seven AAF teams as winners, including the Memphis Express and Atlanta Legends - two teams that had been eliminated from playoff contention. Supporting one league would potentially force the NFL to support other future upstarts.

One last reason that the league seems close to failing: a lack of players. Save your money and keep your head up.

Manziel said in another tweet: "Just the reality of this unfortunate situation. great concept, good football on the field and fun for fans to watch".

Betting site FanDuel has declared the Apollos as champions of the AAF and will pay out futures bets to individuals who put money on the team to win the title.

The AAF has officially made a decision to suspend play for the remainder of the 2019 season. Factor in the costs of operating a franchise, leasing a stadium, paying out player salaries, and so many other things and the league needed a long-term solution to survive.
