We did hear from the palace in early April, when representatives shared that, to the chagrin of eager fans, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want their baby news to remain private until they're ready to share.

Despite announcing the visit just 48 hours ago, Buckingham Palace have now cancelled the first day of the trip.

And just this week, it was announced that Prince Harry would be traveling to the Netherlands for one day on May 9 to announce the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games 2020, sending royal baby watchers into a tizzy over the birth date of the baby.

The cancellation of Harry's royal excursion, which was scheduled for May 8th and 9th, may have also been a sign of respect for his father, the Prince of Wales' diplomatic trip to Germany on the same day.

The ardent royalist is wearing a Union Flag beanie hat with a number of badges showing his devotion to various recent members of the Royal Family in anticipation for their new arrival.

It comes amid speculation that Meghan Markle, 37, has already given birth - with one overexcited fan filming a motorcade including a auto with "pink blankets" driving through Windsor towards Frogmore Cottage.

We'll literally beside ourselves as we await news about Meghan and Harry's baby now!

Sixers dominate Raptors to take 2-1 series lead
The Sixers were grateful with a series split against the Raptors after suffering a losing streak in Toronto that dated to 2012. Pascal Siakam was terrific in the series opener when he scored 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds on 12-15 shooting.

It has been reported that Meghan will take three months of maternity leave after the baby is born.

Doria looked thrilled for her daughter when she arrived with Meghan at her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018.

The palace are expected to issue a short written announcement confirming the Duchess is in labour, with a second to follow upon the safe arrival of the baby, giving details of its sex, weight and time of birth.

Fans of the royal family and keen observers are placing bets on multiple possibilities like the gender of the child, name of the child and who would be the royal baby's godparents.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby", the statement said.

ET also learned that Meghan has had a steady stream of friends, family and loved ones come by to visit the new home, as she gets closer and closer to welcoming her first child.
