The annual Google I/O event is right around the corner, as in tomorrow, and Google is expected to announce some new stuff, One of those will a beta of a new major build of Android, as is now customary at these events. This also confirms the "Purple-ish" color that Google is about to launch, as well as some of the specs - the Pixel 3a XL will feature a 6-inch display and 64GB of storage. Also, the phones will boot Android 9 Pie out of the box and will pack Snapdragon 670. Also, like every year, there will also be some surprises. Google I/O 2019 is shaping up to be one of the most important developer conferences for the company, not from software but a hardware point of view.
As for applications, Google should be making announcements regarding improvements to its Assistant, as well as Maps and Photos.
Hopefully, Google saved something for when it officially launches the Pixel 3a and 3a XL next week.
