Elden Ring is a brand new experience in development at Miyazaki-san's FromSoftware development team, and takes the form of a fantasy-RPG, which you'd probably expect given his previous works. Given that FromSoft is collaborating with George R.R. Martin, we just hope that whatever curse is preventing him from finishing The Winds of Winter won't transfer its bad energy to Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is now in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Also, Miyazaki confirmed the game would be hard, as all games by From are. "We feel there is a wide variety of unique and horrifying bosses for players to look forward to".

We're assuming that Martin helped with building the world and maybe writing the story, and not, like, with programming or anything. Martin added. "The graphics, mythos, and action-RPG gameplay will deliver an unforgettable experience". Publishers Bandai Namco say it's "coming soon" but do they mean FromSoft "soon" or George R.R. Martin "soon"? It was a wonderful source of stimulus for me and the development staff. Elden Ring's world was constructed using this mythos and stimulus as a base.

George R.R Martin's Elden Ring, which is an action role-playing title developed in association with Microsoft, has been finally announced at the Xbox E3 Conference being held in Los Angeles. "It is without a doubt our biggest title yet in terms of sheer volume", explains Miyazaki.

FromSoftware, helmed by legendary video game designer Hidetaka Miyazaki, is responsible for some of the biggest games to emerge over the last decade. The game is purported to be From Software's "largest game to date" and "a fantasy action-RPG adventure", according to Polygon.

"ELDEN RING brings together two incredible masters of their respective crafts", said Chris Gilbert Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc.
