The star-studded reading harkens back to 2012, when George Clooney and Brad Pitt led a live reading of the court case, Perry v. Schwarzenegger, which challenged the legality of Proposition 8, the ballot measure which banned same-sex marriage in California.

The dramatic rendering of former Federal Bureau of Investigation special counsel Robert S. Mueller III's lengthy report on President Trump was adapted by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan. The live cast includes Annette Bening, Kevin Kline, John Lithgow, and Alyssa Milano, to name a few, with additional participation by Sigourney Weaver, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Mark Hamill.

Viewers across the USA can watch "The Investigation: A Search for the Truth in 10 Acts" starting at 9 p.m. ET on the Law Works website as well as the organization's Facebook and Instagram pages, according to a press release.

The celebrities will read the report as adapted by Pultizer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan starting at 9 p.m. Monday.

Law Works says it's focused on "engaging bipartisan voices on the importance of the rule of law, the role of the special counsel in the justice system, and the integrity of our institutions". Mueller's investigation into possible obstruction of justice could not clear Trump, and the redacted report details numerous cases in which Trump asked his aides to take actions that would have obstructed the investigation, but stated they were unsuccessful because the aides refused his orders.
