Released Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been reunited with his pet dog.

It wasn't clear who returned his dog, but police said the animal was found early Wednesday.

A video and pictures of the dog were tweeted on Wednesday, and Lucci has now been returned to Sturridge. I want to know why they've took bags from upstairs.

"Absolutely delighted - just want to say a big thank you to everyone on social media for supporting us and raising awareness".

He added in two tweets: "So since @DanielSturridge dog was found by a black man. he didn't deserve the Reward offered!" I wanna know what's went on. "Are you insane? You break into a house and take a dog?" "I want my dog back, man". I'll pay anything, I'm dead serious.

Sturridge had posted several appeals to help track his dog, after it was allegedly stolen from his LA home on Monday night.

Yo, somebody please find my dog.

The majority of the PSG squad went through medical tests on Monday to begin their pre-season programme under Thomas Tuchel. Leonardo is said to have tried to convince the striker to change his mind, to no avail.

In a video shared to Instagram, broken glass can be seen on the floor, as an emotional Sturridge says: "Somebody has broken into the house in LA and took my dog from the house". I'll pay more than them. KillaFlame tweeted the video at Sturridge, as well as the follow up confirmation statement.

Sturridge did not reply to the tweets but KILLA FAME now claims the England worldwide of lying to him about the cash reward.

Sturridge told police he did not believe the person who returned Lucci was involved in the burglary of his house.

"Don't offer a reward if you not planning on Living up to your word [sic]!"

"Something has gotta change, like how can you break into a house in LA and take someone's dog?"

In a video posted on Instagram after collecting his dog, Sturridge wrote: "Good morning everyone".
