Chinese Dong Dong Turns Gold
- Updated: August 3, 2012
Chinese world number one Dong Dong snatched the Olympic men’s trampoline title.
Dong’s massive score of 62.990 handed him an emphatic victory over Russia’s Dmitry Ushakov (61.769) with the final routine of the day. Dong, twice the individual world champion, won a bronze medal at Beijing 2008 but wept into his coach’s arms as gold was confirmed at London 2012.
