Dodgers land Blanton from Phillies in waiver deal

Right-hander Joe Blanton was claimed off waivers and traded to the Dodgers in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations. Right-hander B.J. Rosenberg was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley, to fill the 25 man roster.
If this is what it the rebuilding stage feel ilk..the next 3 years are going to suck!
Since 2008, Blanton has the fourth-best winning percentage among all major league starters after the All-Star break (.739, 17-6). For his career, he is 38-20 (.655) with a 3.83 ERA in 99 games (91 starts) after the break.
