The US Soccer Federation will be subsidizing 23 of their Women’s National Team players, with the Canadian Soccer Federation and the Mexican Soccer Federation doing the same with 16 of their Women’s National Team players. The allocation consists of 55 players, and with only 23 being from the US, that means that one team will have only two US National Team players along with two National Team players from Canada and Mexico.

With the NWSL College Draft scheduled for Friday, January 18th, teams will now have a solid base to which to build from knowing which National Team players will be on their rosters.

As the excitement continues to build for the upcoming season, everyone is now looking forward to see which players will be putting on their team’s colors this up coming Friday when the team allocation is announced. All of the speculation will then come to an end and the real game planning for the teams can begin.
