Seizing the moment of a 2012 Philadelphia Soul AFL Conference Championship
- Updated: August 5, 2012
On Friday August 3, 2012 I witnessed AFL playoff history as the Philadelphia Soul scored the most points in an AFL playoff game with 89 points. The Philadelphia Soul looked unstoppable against the Jacksonville Sharks at the Wells Fargo Center. My dream came true after the game as I walked onto the turf for the AFL Conference championship celebration as the blue confetti came pouring down. I met Ron Jaworski the owner of the Philadelphia Soul after the game. Jaworski mentioned how he was “extremely proud of his players and organization overall.”
It was a remarkable moment being in the Philadelphia Soul’s locker room after the game. I was able to meet the Philadelphia Soul’s mvp of the game Larry Brackins. Brackins stated “it was one of the best feelings you could have in the world.” I was on top of the world after witnessing the Philadelphia Soul players and coaches celebrate their trip to New Orleans for the Arena Bowl 25. It was a moment in my lifetime I know I will always cherish and never forget.
