About World Sports Show

The World Sports Show was founded in the spring of 2010 as an internet radio show. We began closely following Philadelphia's two new pro soccer teams the Philadelphia Union (MLS) and the Philadelphia Independence (WPS), and well as the Philadelphia other pro teams. After spending one year on internet radio the show was picked up by WiFi 1460 AM, and making the World Sports Show the first ever radio show to talk soccer every week in Philadelphia. Through the formation of the show we have formed relationships with numerous organizations, players, coaches, agents and sports professionals around the world. We have received credentials to cover the following: Major League Soccer (MLS), US Soccer Federation, Women's Professional Soccer (WPS), National Hockey League (NHL), American Hockey League (AHL), National Lacrosse League (NLL), United Football League (UFL) and USA Rugby Sevens. In December 2011 the World Sports Show signed an agreement with the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League to be the official radio show of the team. This winter the World Sports Show covered all the events of the NHL's Winter Classic, which included the show's host Charlie Flowe, featured on HBO's TV show 24/7 Flyers / Rangers.
