Floyd Mayweather vs Robert Guerrero Preview

(Las Vegas NV) The Boxing world returns to the big stage  on Saturday May 4 from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada as Floyd Mayweather Jr makes his in ring return for the 1st time since his being released from jail & after his last fight against Miguel Cotto in May 2012. Matweather will face WBC Interim Welterweight champion and Ring No. 3 ranked Welterweight Robert “The Goast” Guerrero. Mayweather will defend his WBC Welterweight title & go after the vacant Ring Welterweight title.  Mayweather also begins a new partership with Showtime Sports. The Night of fighting begins on Showtime at 7PM with 2 fights that will be called by Barry Tompkins & Steve Farhood, the fights are the following:

8 Round Super Middleweight fight:
Badou Jack (13-0 with 9 K’Os) vs. Michael Gbenga (16-7 with 16 KO’s)

TIME PERMITTING before going LIVE on Pay Per View will show a 6 Round Middleweight fight:
Luis Arias (4-0 with 3 KO’s)  vs. Donyil Livingston (8-2-1 with 4 KO’s)

The action switches to Pay Per View at 9PM with 3 undercard title fights, Brian Kenny will host the SHOWTIME Pay Per View telecast, with Mauro Ranallo calling the action, Al Bernstein & Paulie Malignaggi serving as expert analysts with Jim Gray reporting. The fights on Pay Per View start with:

10 Round Middleweight fight for Vacent NABF Middleweight Title 
J’Leon Love (15-0 with 8 KO’s)  vs. Gabriel Rosado from Philadelphia PA (21-6 with 13 KO’s)

10 Round junior featherweights Fight for Vacent USBA junior featherweight Title:
Leo Santa Cruz  (23-0-1 with 13 KO’s) vs. Alexander Munoz (36-4 with 28 KO’s)

Co Main Event: 12 Round featherweight Fight for Ponce De Leon’s WBC featherweight title:
Daniel Ponce De Leon (44-4 with 35 KO’s) vs Abner Mares (25-0-1 with 13 KO’s)

Main Event: 12 Rounds Welterweight fight for Vacent Ring Magazine Title & Mayweather’s WBC Welterweight title
Floyd Mayweather Jr. (43-0 with 26 KO’s) vs. Robert Guerrero (31-1-1 with 18 KO’s)
