With most playoffs beginning this week or the next, your week 13 fantasy football picks could be key.
Bryce Brown, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: His 178-yard, two-touchdown debut was magic for several owners who needed a Monday night miracle, but take note that Brown’s role will be reduced once LeSean McCoy returns from a concussion suffered in Week 11.
Cecil Shorts, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars: He’s found the end zone six times this season, including once in each of his last three starts. I know it’s the Jags, but Shorts is definitely worthy of a roster spot as a WR3 in leagues with ten or more teams.
Beanie Wells, RB, Arizona Cardinals: Wells admitted after Sunday’s game that he’s not in top football shape at the moment, but the former Buckeye still rolled up 48 rushing yards and two scores on 17 carries this past weekend. There’s some upside here as we enter the home stretch.
Ryan Broyles, WR, Detroit Lions: After catching a career-high six passes for 126 yards on Thanksgiving against Houston, there’s a good chance Broyles could assume the No. 2 WR spot in Detroit, which is currently held by Titus Young. The rookie’s stock is rising.
