Philadelphia PA: As the enter country gets ready to celebrate the holiday season, some teams continue to find ways to make their team better. On Thursday the 76ers made a Christmas Eve trade that has a lot of people scratching their heads as the 76ers have traded two second round picks to the New Orleans Pelicans for PG Ish Smith & also have released PG Tony Wroten. The 76ers have the Worst record in the NBA at 1-30 and they need to shake things up lead by new chairman of basketball operations Jerry Colangelo. Wroten was in his 8th game this season after he had a partially torn ACL, which he suffered midway through the 2014-15 season.
Below is Press Release from the 76ers about the Trade with the New Orleans Pelicans
